I'm glad to know the CB&Q is still alive in Lincoln!! I won't be able to
get away this weekend, but would like to know when the next event will take
place.
The record begins on January 8, 1946 and ends on March 21, 1947.

If you are in the Lincoln NE area there is a Train Show this weekend at the
Lancaster Event Center. There will be many CB&Q rail fans there, as well as
a local train group who would be interested in your father's stuff.
I'm sure you could sell them and/or get a estimate from several honest
people who will assist you in a monetary figure as to their worth.
I will also tell you that Randy Krause who is the owner of Randy's
Roundhouse in Lincoln NE will help you on your Dad's stuff, will price it
for free or at a very low price, and if you wish help you sell those items.
Randy is very honest and will not try to get you to sell the items to him or
steer you wrong. Randy will also have a booth at the Show.

if you could scan & share with our Zephyr editor so it might be used as
reference material, that would be great1 Perhaps too offer a scan to anyone
on
list who is interested in trains in the Lincoln area in the late 40's. IF
they
are not something you wish to keep, there are a few railfans who might buy
them.
generally RR museums are not as interested in time sheets as in other
"paper".
You are lucky your Dad saved them; perhaps from his 1st couple months with
CB&Q?
Tks for sharing.
Gerald

My late father hired on as a Fireman at Lincoln after the end of WWII. Among
his
belongings is a pair of very detailed time records - Train#, engine,
Engineer,
destination, pay due. What should I do with them?
