Once again, here's a plea..... SOMEBODY has to have, or know who has, CB&Q Railroad Roman lettering (stenciling) drawings for Passenger Cars, Freight Cars, and Locomotives..... Yes, we can work off of photos to recreate them, but it would be nice to have the original documents to confirm what the charactrers were supposed to look like. I wouldn't bet that the Champ decals were accurate..... each railroad had their own ideas of what RR ROMAN letters and numbers were supposed to look like (even varying with each size lettering) and Champ and Walthers often used a common font for printing roadnames.... and even then the spacing and size might not be correct. Charlie Vlk The sets you mention are fine for Pullmans or for hand lettering cars, but Champ is (was) the only company to produce decals for "Burlington" in Railroad Roman extended lettering, so their shutting down is a significant loss.
