To be honest, I don't know. I was considering the P2K E6 because they would
have a very close lead truck to the 9908, and would be readily available to
purchase at a reasonable price from stores that over bought them. Others
will have to chime in on the frame/truck issues you raised.

Dave - does the E6 have the same issues as the earlier E7 in terms of
the non-level nature of the frame & trucks? Until the latest release
of the E7, you had to do extensive work in leveling the locomotive
and sometimes the trucks were not in tram.
