Subject:[serails] Stolen Horn
Sometime after 1030 PM, some one made off with a set of Leslie Supertyphon RS5T
horns from the South Carolina Railroad Museum. These horns had just been tested
and approved by the FRA for locomotive 2028. They have been modified with 2
bells reversed, a plug placed in the bottom and ground smooth, and the air inlet
changed to the side of the horn. Also, the #3 bell cap has a crack at one of the
bolts holding the cap on. If you should see the horn for sale, or know one
somebody that just recently acquired a 5 chime, please inform me
