Sam After sitting in the mud and water??? The whole project is like the Flying Yankee up in NH. You start from scratch with only a shell. But it can be done with enough M&M's Steve in SC Who has worked on trolley projects just like this ________________________________ From: Sam Cook <trains@sjcook.com> To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Sent: Fri, May 7, 2010 5:49:35 PM Subject: Re: [CBQ] is the Mark Twain Zephyr returning to Hannibal, Missouri? In the article, what do they mean by: "Putting trucks, or wheels, on it would cost extra as each must be designed separately." What happened to the original trucks that were moved from Minooka? For a static display, why couldn't they be used? Or operating? They were Timken roller-bearings. .. should be restorable, I would think.
