The odds are quite good that this is one locomotive of the bunch that 
will be saved. (though I can't believe the Louie RS would go)  I 
would be shocked if it were scrapped, the only reason would be that 
it is so far gone as to be irredeemable.  The locomotive has been 
rebuilt and HEPed, so it is a bit modified, but not so much that a 
competent shop couldn't retro it cosmetically.   St. Louis has a very 
nicely restored Q E unit (and of course, SILVER CHARGER) so they 
still have some taste...
