[CBQ] Mixed Trains on the Q

I was raised in extreme south central Iowa and went to high school (graduated 
in 1960) in Garden Grove on the Chariton-St Joe branch. This was before I had 
an active interest in railroads but had at least a passing interest. I remember 
the NB mixed train went through Garden Grove during the lunch break (by the 
timetable Tr. 131 went through Garden Grove at 12:05 P.M). Never more than 5 
cars with an old coach tied on the end. I don't remember there being a caboose. 
Seemed like there was always one old lady passenger and no others. That was 
almost 50 years ago so my memory may not be accurate, but that's the way it 
sticks in my mind.
