CB&Q mixed trains used waycars, motor car trailers, old coaches, drover's, etc
over the years. Photos of various combinations appear in some BRHS & Milepost
calendars, Corbin's "Burlington in Transition", the Holbtook/Lorenz "Waycar
book", etc. In 1959 CB&Q modified 6 wood waycars with added seats & side doors
just for such service - #14560 for example worked the Edgemont-Lead/Deadwood,
SD branch. The Q offered mixed service advertised & otherwise right up to the
end.

I suggest you attend the BRHS spring meet as many of these sources will be
available for sale there.

Ditto for eveyone else who has posted questions - I will have 2 tables of
purely CB&Q time tables, passes, calendars, brochures, etc at fair prices.
Other mbrs & commercial dealers have some CB&Q items to some degree or another.
It's inexpensive to have a TT for the year you model, Corbin & Overton books,
etc. Many of the questions posted on Q Yahoo can be answered with the
wonderful resources we have: back issues of BRHS Bulletins & Zephyrs, Bill
Glick's passenger car trilogy, Holck's & Spoor's volumes, etc etc.

Gerald
