Tom,
The car is a General American-built (1956-57) riveted-side express
refrigerator in the REX 6900-7899 series.

Subject: [CBQ] Passenger Car Identification
Cound someone please help me identify the car types/series on this train:

What is the first car (some sort of express box)?
The next three cars and the last car are CB&Q cars but do not have
full skirting. What cars would these be without the full skirting and
are there good stand-ins in HO?
The next to last car appears to be a heavyweight streamliner. Any idea
what car type this is?
Any pointers to articles on these cars in BB's, Zephyrs, or books
would also be of help.
