I believe this bridge was a private bridge used by a farmer to get to his fields on both sides of the yard.It wasn`t torn down,it collapsed.I heard a woman was killed in the collapse while crossing.The bridge supports might still be there.To see them you have to take Metra.Any ability to reach the bridge head is gone by new housing,even the farm buildings are gone.
