Yes i know as i also lived and worked in Galva. went to school there class of
55.
i can remmber when all the stores were open, including swanks hardwear, witch
is now hawathys. fred

Galva is a study of small town America. In 1960 there were over 60 viable
little stores around the square. When I went back in the late 1990's there were
4 places open, the rest vacant.
