I'm trying to remember, the last time I worked Table Grove (1952) I think the 
local came up 2 or 3 times a week.  Very lonly.  The Arensville hill is about 
1.6%.  Heavy trains like iron ore had to triple it to get up.

  Ack! I spent a good portion of yesterday afternoon exploring the line 
  between Table Grove and Beardstown. I found some great photo venues, 
  but nary a train in sight. As they say, timing is everything.
