FYI FYI only. I am not a dealor, vendor, or manufacturer. I am just generating discussion among CB&Q O-scale & O-gauge fans. 3Rd Rail/Sunset has updated teir website with photos of their O- scale 4-6-4 CB&Q #3007. Looks great to me. #4000 & #4001 are also offered. Supposed to be out in May. 3RD Rail has also announced a CB&Q M4 "colorado" 2-10-4 in O-scale (2-rail) and O-gauge (3-rail) for MSRP $1500. No details are available other than O-72 minimum curves for 3-rail, 4 road numbers (2 with Elesco Feed water heater (FWH) and 2 with Worthington FWH), and due out sometime in 2007. To my knowledge, this is the first time a CB&Q 2-10-4 has been offered in 3-rail O-gauge. What road numbers would be popular? Maybe #6315 that was in excursion service for one trip? From looking at photos in the Corbin, Holck, Spoor, & Stagner books, I saw the following: Elesco FWH: 6310, 6312, 6314, 6315. Worthington FWH: 6316, 6317, 6319, 6320, 6321, 6323, 6324, 6325, 6326, 6327. Does anyone have any favorite road numbers? Does anyone favor Elesco FWH or Worthington FWH? Enjoy. Bill Yahoo!
