Like the ALCO Models brass diesels, where the bodies sat 6' off the
trucks, the Tenshodo SD-24's & GP-20's were all manufactured in the 1960's
long before accuracy became a major issue. At that time we had Athearn,
Mantua/Tyco, Penn Line, Varney and a few others and we were just tickled to
have these models back then. I had a Tenshodo SD-9 in the Blackbird scheme,
which I believe I got in 1959 for Christmas, and I thought I was in heaven.
