I do understand the difference between high and low noses (hoods). 
The engine I bought unfortunately is a low nose, not correct for the 
'Q'. I would still like to find another one, though. I just thought 
the brass manufacturers were more accurate when they built and 
painted their locos. I guess I ass-u-me'd :-) too much. This was an 
impulse purchase and I didn't have the opportunity to research it 
before buying it.
