Greetings all:

re the discussion six weeks ago about whether any of the ex-troop kitchen
cars converted to express service ever became MOW cars:

As mentioned previously, I have a low-res photo scan of such a car in CB&Q
MOW orange photographed at Oregon, IL, in June 1970, i.e. shortly after the BN
merger. I have now found my original photo and can report the car number as
250068. The car looked newly painted and didn't have a CB&Q herald on it, so
no telling whether the conversion to MOW service and the new paint job
occurred before or after the merger.

Regards,

Bill Diven
