I am curious about named cars owned by the CB&Q.
Named platform observation café parlor cars built by Pullman 1901
ILLINOIS
IOWA
MINNESOTA
NEBRASKA
WISCONSIN
Were these cars numbered as well? In the 300 series? And if so what
numbers did they have? 300-304?
Besides business cars, were these the only Burlington owned
observation cars that had platforms?
Were there any other wooden cars owned by the Burlington that had
names?
There were some named heavyweight sunroom cars built by Pullman in
1928 for service on the Black Hawk and the Aksarben
LINCOLN
MINNEAPOLIS
OMAHA
ST. PAUL
Were these cars numbered as well? In the 200 series? If so what
numbers did they have?
Later there were
MISSISSIPPI #220
RIVERVIEW #221
Are there any other wooden or heavyweight cars that had names?
(I am not concerned about Pullman owned cars or the lightweight Budd
cars operated on the Burlington, only railroad owned wooden or
heavyweight cars.)
Thank you,
Michael
