I'll take a look at my brick when I get home, but if I remember it
doesn't say Purington.
I'm from Lincoln, and assumed (probably wrongly!) that all the brick
in the area came from Yankee Hill ( http://www.yankeehillbrick.com/ ),
on Coddington Avenue just a couple of miles south of the yards.
The brick mural "Iron Horse Legacy" on the north end of the Lincoln
depot (
http://www.lincoln.org/visiting/attractions/parks/ironhorse.htm ) was
produced by the artist Jay Tschetter at the Yankee Hill facility.
But now that's just getting into rambling and not helping you with
your question! :-)
Best regards,
Randy
