Mark;

The Intermountain kit is also good, but I prefer the Branchline, as I
think the fidelity of the detail parts is superior. If you buy their
Undec, you get a kit with lots of optional parts, 4 types of ends, two
roofs, both Youngstown and Superior doors, 7 and 8 rung ladders (though
I can't recall if they are 5 panel or 7 panel, and no longer have any of
the kits since I've moved my modeling era back into the 1930's).

As for lettering, there's the Microscale set you mention, CDS offers a
set of dry transfers, and I think Jerry Hamsmith may also offer a set
though I can't seem to put my hands on his price list at the moment (can
anyone else out there confirm). My opinion about the Microscale set is
that the Burlington Route heralds are the wrong size for many of the box
car applications, though I've posed the question to this group before
and go no definitive answers.

I hope this is helpful.

Kind regards, Rob Adams
