Subject: Sound Decoders

Gentlemen,

Maybe you can help. I'm trying to find out when second
generation
diesels started. I have Soundtraxx on my HO railroad, which models the "Q".
I have first generation sound in my F-units, which I know is correct. But I
don't
know about the rest of the diesel rosters after the F-units. I have been
told
two ways on this. If I have the wrong decoders in my GP-20's, GP-30's, GP-
40's, and the new SD-24's from Atlas ( coming ), I will end up replacing
the screw-up. Gives me a chance to upgrade to the new Soundtraxx decoders
that just came out. Your help would be appreciative.
