Specifically July "54 thru Dec. "57.   76 cars were sealed in a 2 &1/2 yr 
period.   Foreign roads numbered 25 with 37 cars: 4 from PRR one was plywood 
for Des Moines); 3 ea from RI, IC 1 reefer with fruit and a boxcar of 
washing machines), NP & C&O (1 with bakery goods from Des Moines and 1 with 
paper from Hoerner Paper Co.); two ea from NKP (1 with paper for Des 
Moines), C&NW, GN (both wallboard loads), CGW (1 load was calendars & other 
was oil to Mt. Ayr, IA) & Santa Fe (1 with wallboard for Chariton) and one 
ea from Erie, SOO (groceries to Super-Value in Des Moines), SL-SF, RDG 
(lumber to Agency, IA), SAL (refrigerators to Des Moines), Milw (John Deere 
implements), BAR, Southern, Louisiana & Arkansas (wallboard to Humestown), 
UP, NYC and Wabash (beans from Des Moines).

Private owners & RR reefer lines comprised 11 companies with 24 cars:  
Morrell had 5; St. Louis Refrig had 4; ART had 3 including 2 hauling cheese 
from Thorp, Wis to Kansas City with some being offloaded @ Morrell's 
[cheddarwurst ingredient?]; 2 ea from URTX, NWX & National (MNX #2198 with 
Kosher meat loaded on C&S & an NX) and one ea from PFE, FGE, GAEX (50' steel 
box), Santa Fe Refrig Exp. and DSDX (Dairy Shippers Dispatch that had a 
heater repaired by BREX employee B.C. Sheets).  One of the URTX was same as 
2 of the ART's - cheese being partially unloaded @ Morrell.

The Q had 16 cars but 2 were express boxes (ex-troop kitchen) 8756 with mdse 
from Ottumwa frt house & 8634; one was MoW (214200) and one "diesel" 
(written as such) #161, an F-3, which had seal removed from speed recorder 
on 10-31-56 to ck mileage.  Freight cars included box 33047 which had seal 
broken due to derailment on May 12, 1955, train #61; 22840 with timplate for 
San Jose & 22858 with the same for Sacramento; 45995 with Deere implements 
for Albia; 46660 with company mat'ls and 91183, a 45' piggyback flat 
carrying a Burlington trailer that needed resealing on train #71.
