Pete
They look white to me. I think they are running as an
extra, and I'll tell you why, just a theory mind you.
The train departed Denver on a Monday and the new TT
didn't go into effect until the following Sunday.
Remember TT's always go into effect on Sunday! If it
went into effect on the 11th, then the DS would have
to annull it on the first day. I guess they thought it
was easier to run it as an extra all week. As to the
headlight in the daytime. When the new rule book came
in 1952, the practice went system-wide. Before that it
was established by Div. Bulletin. On the Breadstown
Div., I have the 1951 Bulletin. When class. flags were
authorized, it was flags or lights, not both.
