I am keenly interested in any and all buildings belonging to the
granger roads. If you have an interest in committing your depot
memories to paper, I would love to add them to my research files,
which are the basis of our company's commercial building offerings.
At the moment, we're at work on a series of granger road towers.
First up: IC's Portage tower, near Galena, Ill. In the drawing stage:
Rock Island's Short Line tower in Des Moines; also, CGW's Tower A,
Waterloo, Iowa.
I hope to receive suggestions from Burlington modelers about which Q
tower we should focus on for our tower series project. Anyone?
