The DOT maintains a site with ICC accident reports from 1911 to 1967 at: http://Specialcollections.tasc.dot.gov/scripts/ws.dll?login&site=dot_railroads Here is the report for the 47 wreck: http://Specialcollections.tasc.dot.gov/scripts/ws.dll?login&site=dot_railroads I could not find a report for Aug 27th 1965.
