Thanks for this. The photos I checked were of the dirty variety. I note
though that "CB&Q In Color Vol. 2" contains photos of U28C #571 on delivery
(page 26) and U25B #101 (page 100) apparently showing red side and end rails
but black handrails alongside the steps.
