Part of the old right of way was visible in St. Joseph back in the 50's. I
do not know if it is still visible. Bob Schafer

Subject: Re: [BRHSlist] Kansas City, St. Joseph & Council Bluffs
The questions were asked:
Where can I get information (and pictures) about the old Kansas City,
St. Joseph & Council Bluffs, an interurban serving the cities named?
Wasn't there are another interurban serving roughly the same
geographical area at about the same time? If so, what was its name?
Was any of those lines¡¯ right-of-way incorporated into the
Burlington? Is any portion of those lines still in existence? When
did they give up the ghost?
I can help a little. According to info I have (compiled by Joseph Gross),
the KCStJ&CB did indeed become part of the CB&Q. I was thinking that the
other interurban line's name was Kansas City, Clay County & Northern; but I
can't locate anything on it right now.
