It depends on the particular car. The first 60 cars (700-759) had
two 16" x 72" main reservoirs, both on the left side, one ahead of
the center door, and one behind. When they were remodeled in the
70's, the rear reservoir was removed.

Cars 760-787 had one 16" x 72" reservoir, on the rear only. These
cars are still this way.

Cars 790-795 had two 20" x 72" reservoirs, one ahead, and one
behind. These cars are still this way.

The gallery cars had many other reservoirs. The most visible ones
are listed below. Cars 700-759 had a combination reservoir on the
right side, ahead of center. This reservoir has only one round end,
which is toward the front. It is commercially available in a brass
casting, so you may want to model it. Cars 760-795 did not have a
combination reservoir. Cars 790-795 had a 16" x 36" reservoir on the
right side, ahead of center. The front end of this reservoir lines
up with the front end of the 72" reservoir on the opposite side. The
other most visible reservoir on cars 790-795 was a 10" x 15"
auxiliary reservoir under the engineers control stand, just toward
the end of the car from the sanding box. This reservoir is oriented
perpendicular to the car rather than in line.
