We use to make a turn from Aurora to Sterling(NWS&W) then Savanna some times
to Clinton and once down to the Quad Cities(Caught the DRI&NW((a Q
Subsidary))with Alco S-4's which use to show up in Savanna for overhauls.)
Have many slides of the area we did not shot much on the BN side as most of
the Q was gone in the early seventies. Too bad we are so far apart. I am
still working on getting to the fall meet.
