I believe all Q GP7's and 9's were equipped with the 62:15 gear ratio which
would limit the maximm, SAFE speed to 70 MPH.
51 and 52, as well as 47 and 48, ran on schedules calling for 75 MPH top speed.

I heard once that the 2 GP7's equipped for Dinky Service couldn't accelarate
fast enough so they were dropped from the Dinky Pool. Guess they needed "Max
Field Range"
