Hi Gordon!

Thanks for the info. Sounds like an Alco Models SC would not be that good of 
a starting point to get those NW1's. Dennis Blunt thought he remembered a 
Trains model or Alco model of a NW1 from the '60's. Can anyone confirm this?

A side note - it's kind of interesting that after using the higher horsepower 
V12 Winton 201 for the NW1, that EMD would settle on 600 hp as it's standard 
for the SW1. Why not 900 hp or 1000 hp? Couldn't they stretch the 567 to 
the higher horsepower right off the bat?
