- Tom According to some photocopied pages I have (origin not known), NP had a total of 4 slumber coaches (#325-328 Lochs Sloy, Leven, Lomond and Ness) delivered new in 1959 (plus 8 second hand in 1964)

- Rupert, The BN Equipment Book #1 dated Sep-1970 lists the following slumbercoaches: NP 325- 334 CB&Q 335- 336 CB&Q 4900-4903 Other North Coast Limited equipment of interest: Dome Sleeper Buffet Loung

- The two "Northern Pacific" lettered slumbercoaches owned by CB&Q were #335 Loch Arkaig and #336 Loch Awe. According to information in Charles Rudisel's book, they were built in 1959 as NYC #10802 and
