Just to add a small bit to Stock Yard thread, most of the cars from the various stockyards at Montgomery and Mendota (along Route 34 East of town) we interchanged to the Chicago Union Stockyards at C

Not to be contradictory but are you sure those stock cars set on the south wye were for the Chgo stock yards? The recent posting of Condrs. lists s/o at Congress Park shows them headed to points east
