- John Thanks for that. I only recorded those Reports which were listed as CB&Q, etc. in the annual lists – I didn’t go looking in the Reports of other roads. I wouldn’t be surprised

- Hi Rupert, I believe they would go by the milepost markers. I also believe that they would use the line-side poles (telegraph, phone, signal lines etc.) as they would know how many poles to a mile...
