The Overland B-1A is a relatively good model. It's very close in accuracy and only a handful of issues would keep it from being right on. It is a very nice representation. Mine runs good, replace the

Kevin, My condolences. I hope you know a lot about soldering brass kits. I have 2 of the B1a engines, one is in pieces, the other is better both don't run worth a plug. Nice running gear, bad gearbox

I have one and so does a local Q member. He runs his all the time and it runs great. I run mine on occation as I have a small layout, but it runs great as well. No problems with either one of our B1'

Kevin, I think that there is a problem here in concept. If this engine is modeled as a Lignite burner then it would not have operated in Illinois/Missouri. While others have done a fine job describin
