Duncan, It was eons ago I had opened it up, but I think it might have only had two of the axles powered. I think it may not have been able to pull the three car set - not too far off from the prototy

My Charger pulls fine. What it doesn't pull are the lead sled trucks Hallmark put under the 3 car set. The blunt axles and incorrect sideframes are better repalced with the old bluebox Athearn stream
