I'm very tempted to go to DCC. It just seems smarter to run my layout that way. However... All my locomotives are non-DCC. I know that they can be done as DCC, but I have several questions. How much

I've had DCC now for 7 years. Take it from experience, the cheapest decoders are not always the ones you want. Many times problems will show up eventually and you'll have to toss them aside. Granted

Hi Jan I switched to DCC about 2 years ago. DCC decoders vary in price from basic one function (Headlight on/off) for about $12.00 each to over $100 for sound decoders. Good multi function decoders g
