Ed, While I dont have the photo that you are looking for, I can add a little information. The first E7s, 9916 A-B through 9924 A-B, were equipped with one steam generator at the rear of the unit. The

In the photo with the single steam generator exhaust extension, that particular unit has two boilers. You can see two air intakes, which indicates to steam generators. They are just exhausting out of

Jim, Yes, I do see what look like two intakes and one exhaust. But on the later E's, there are sometimes what look like 4 intakes and two exhausts. So, if two intakes means two boilers, then 4 intake
