Sorry, but strike that last post!!!! NO CB&Q equipment that I know of received MAROON paint, at least post-1880 era... CB&Q had a shade of GREEN as its standard passenger car color in the steel heavy

Trevor 1938 was one of ten mail-baggage cars built in November 1922 by S S Car Co. as class MB-22 and numbered 1935-1944. There are photos of 1938 in Bill Glick's Passenger Car Photo Album, together

Charlie, the photos of 1938 I found are post CB&Q era. I don't know who owned it at the time. I only pointed out that they were maroon to indicate they'd be no help in painting it accurately as a Q c
