Trevor
1938 was one of ten mail-baggage cars built in November 1922 by S S Car Co. as
class MB-22 and numbered 1935-1944.
There are photos of 1938 in Bill Glick's Passenger Car Photo Album, together
with photos of MB-23 cars 1945-1949 that were built by
AC&F in November 1924 and were apparently identical. There are also photos in
the book of the interior of these cars.
In addition, the Shoreham Shops flyer had a photo of 1935 , there is a photo of
1942 at Galesburg in 1967 in Mike Spoor's Volume 1
page 74, and one of 1943 at Lincoln in 1968 in Burlington Bulletin 37 on page
85.
1945 is displayed at Galesburg and the museum may have builder's photos to
confirm the original paint scheme.
