I just picked up two new Athearn Mill Gondolas. I plan to alter the numbers and reporting marks to make them C&S. I am not aware that the C&S cars were ever repainted into the paint scheme that Athea

The article in Prototype Modeler does not have the drop end. The Athearn car fits in the C&S 21000-21019 series that does have drop ends, at least they are listed in the 1952 Equipment Register.(20 c
