This question came up this past weekend at a show The Little Q Model Railroad Club did out at Blackberry Farm in Aurora IL. Is there a reason why the domes are offset and not centered in the car? Is

I think it is more an underbody equipment layout issue than the interior arrangement. The coach seating areas could have been more balanced out if the dome were centered, but then the interconnecting

I never thought of the under floor equipment, thus more space would be available with the dome being off set.More space in one area for ac units, water tanks, and other equipment. As far as the roof
