Does anyone know why Amtrak is running daily trains on the C&I? One goes west bound in the early afternoon and the the east bound goes through Hinckley IL at around 7pm! Just curious! thanks for the

There are a wide variety of detours happening. Not sure which train is going via Hinckley. The Empire Builder is going on the BNSF and will likely continue for a week. The Texas Eagle was also rerout

Short summary: CP Reeseville Swamp (between Watertown and Columbus) has over 3 feet of water on the tracks before today's 4+ inches fell. Detours on the BNSF and ICE. Amtrak #7/8 are running the BNSF
