Ed I remember seeing a Steam Engine (Don't remember which one) being used in the Hannibal, Mo yards on the waterfront for swithing and local work during the spring 1973 floods. The water was too deep

Jerry, Better back your memory back about 20 years to the mid 50s. I hired out in 66 and went through the flood of 73 in Hannibal. No sign of a steam engine then. In fact, we couldn't use the K line
