The "mine tailing" guess could be accurate.   It seems the 4000 cu ft cars survived in hazardous waste service a long time .   Most of these cars went on to the BN , and got painted into all three of

This "speed" seems to be a bit unusual .  I believe I've read more than one place that 18 mph is the speed to avoid.  From what I remember the 18 mph is the maximum harmonic for most freight cars and

What you heard is true.  I have tried ordering several Branchline products recently , and it seems almost all stocks have been depleted.   The Atlas web - site talks about producing some items , does
