And an additional note that I find interesting, it carried the BN logo well in advance of the merger in '70 (the U23s and SD45s didn't.) I don't remember the dates, but it was something like 6 - 8 mo

Actually in images I've seen the pre-merger green is lighter. Some photos I have seen with BN name/number patches on them the patch itself is darker. That presumes the patch is Cascade Green and I'm
