I need some advice on how to fade the paint onfreight cars painted Chinese Red. My thought is that using white would cause the paint to look pink. I only want slight fading. Thank you for the help. L

For CB&Q freight car red, some modelers have used ART reefer yellow, which isnt bright yellow. I tried that but wasnt satisfied with the results. Ive used chrome oxide or rust to fade the paint. All
