- LorenI think you meant the T1s..... the T2s were designed to Q standards... essentially two R4s with a long boiler. The T1s were GN designs diverted to the Q. There was some use of the Q engineering

- IIRC the R-1 was built for Nickel Plate Products and was a spin-off of their K-2 (???) 4-6-0 project. I think the R2s were a little heavier than the R1s but the model might make a good starting point
