| You might try airbrushing a clear gloss over the decals. Then after the gloss clear has dried for 24 hours then airbrush your matte or semi- gloss clear.
When airbrushing your clear coats use one, two or three thin coats not one heavy coat.

I used Home Depot lacque for years with great success. When I use TruColor brand paint I use there thinner even though I know other thinners might work.

Ok Ray...Testors coatings are lacquer and they discontinued the thinner
and only have enamel thinner now.
