Some questions (non urgent) if I may, about your prototype in 1958: Paintwork on the C&S steam engines. Is the number on the cab exterior “imitation gold”? Paintwork on the C&S steam switch engines. Is the number on the cab exterior “imitation gold”? And the “C&S over AT&SF” in aluminium? C&S way cars Which models do you use for the way cars? AT&SF way cars One of the problems I have had is trying to work out which way cars were used on the Joint Line in 1951 (my modelling period). So far, I have come up with 1410 and 1411 as strong possibilities. Lots of photos on the head end of the trains but very little on the rear end.
Once again, many thanks for keeping the C&S alive.

This is the most popular job at C&S Northern Division operating sessions – it’s usually the first one selected. And it's easy to see why…
