When I worked at the Amtrak Station in Omaha in the 1970s, with former CB&Q employees, our Amtrak supervisor was a former Union Pacific man named Joe Geist. He had worked for the Union Pacific years before the creation of Amtrak. He had a great job arranging for, accompanying group train and or special car movements, handling arrangements, as UPRR specialized on handling tours of the west, the National Parks, etc. in fifties and sixties. While I do not recall Mr. Geist's former title, I would envision he was a Passenger Agent (similar to Santa Fe Passenger Agents) or Passenger Director would be appropriate.
